    Mechanical Breakdown

    Product Description

    When purchasing any vehicle, there is a chance of having mechanical breakdowns that may need to be repaired. Mechanical Breakdown Insurance through Vision Warranty Co. allows the borrower to eliminate some, or all, costs of repair including those caused by normal wear and tear.

    Minimum Requirements

    Minimum Requirements

    Available for vehicles newer than 11 Model Years with less than 150,000 miles at the time of warranty purchase; exact mileage of the vehicle is required to start the contract.

    • *does not replace or substitute as auto insurance
    • Three levels of coverage allow members to choose the amount of protection they want
      • Level 1: covers most important, and expensive, components – engine, transmission, drive axle
      • Level 2: covers Level 1 items plus brakes, AC, steering, suspension, fuel pump, and electrical 
      • Level 3: covers Level 1 & 2 items as well as all other parts of the vehicle that are not explicitly listed under “EXCLUSIONS” in the service contract
    • All plans cover:
      • Ordinary wear and tear 
      • Roadside assistance (towing/ wrecker, gasoline delivery, tire change, battery jump, lockout)
      • Rental car reimbursement 
      • Manufacturer’s deductible reimbursement 
    • Payment is made by Vision Warranty directly to the Repair Shop
    • Prorated refund of purchase price if vehicle is totaled prior to the expiration
    • Warranty  may be transferrable to the new owner if the vehicle is sold prior to the expiration of coverage
